Evening Concerts at the Zoo
Each year Musical Zoo Evenings are staged beside the attractive Great Lake in Budapest’s Zoo. Guests can use their tickets to enter the Zoo from 7 pm on the day of the concert, giving them time to look round the Aquarium, Palm House and enjoy the lakeside sunset.
One can dine by candlelight under the ancient chestnut trees or gaze at the lovely view over the lake from the terrace of the Palm House confectionery.
Everyone will surely find music to their taste in the course of the series running throughout the summer. The primary focus is on jazz, Dixieland and klezmer performed by first-rate artists, although the repertoire does include light classical music and folk music evenings.
