HUNGARYTHM - PRESIDANCE

Holdviola Orchestra and Presidance Company, two recently established Hungarian formations working up folk music and culture in a new, modern synthesis, are prepared for a very special production. HUNGARYTHM is a production of two 50-minute acts where elements of dance, music and circus are blended.

The performance invites us on a remarkable journey illuminating the most important stages in Hungarian history where we can glimpse into the world of people’s senses and emotions. Whether in the midst of tears, or sitting with mouth wide open in astonishment, or roaring with laughter, we can know ourselves and envision our own fate. The dance performance has a particular speciality: bringing circus elements into the show, it also features an artist who worked together with the famous Cirque du Soleil.
